Synergy between Specialized Education and Research
Incorporating recent shifts in the paradigm of chemical substance toxicity assessment and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, our graduate school pursues research that combines traditional experimental-based approaches with data-based methods. Recognizing the blurred boundaries between these two realms, we aim to pioneer innovative research that bridges the gap, contributing to the future of the chemical substance field.

In the era of strengthened global regulations on chemical substances, the demand for expertise in chemical substance management has never been greater. To address this, our graduate school collaborates with industry consortiums to provide real-world, practical training that aligns with the needs of the field. Through partnerships with consulting firms, testing and certification institutions, and environmental IT industries, we equip our students with the skills demanded by the industry, while offering comprehensive career guidance and support.

Our graduate school, centered around the Department of Environmental Engineering at Seoul City University, offers interdisciplinary convergence courses. These courses encompass environmental engineering, applied chemistry, artificial intelligence, and big data, cultivating innovative talents equipped with theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Furthermore, our consortium approach across departments enhances our research competitiveness in various fields.
